AT+ Plus Autumn Newsletter is out!

Dear Parents

Much has happened since I last contacted you and there is a lot to update you with!
Autism Treatment Plus (AT+) is now running full swing with clinics in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. There are many new additions in terms of treatment, particularly with GcMAF, a promising immunotherapy developed in the USA and the FODMAP diet which can help relieve some of the digestive symptoms commonly seen in autism. There are also new lab tests available, touching on some of the most central deregulations seen in autism and we can provide a detailed behavioural monitoring of the children following an intervention for an objective evaluation of outcomes.

We continue to provide access to diagnosis services, proposing a more comprehensive autism profile, that includes autism rating scales, problem behaviour inventory and sensory profile.

In terms of research, there are opportunities for children and adults with autism to take part to two research projects: one uses Alpha Stim, an effective intervention to relief anxiety, pain, and insomnia and the other, in collaboration with Stirling University, that will use the Eye Position Tracking technology to monitor the social engagement of the children and assess their level of autism. For both of these we are calling for participants.

Finally, if you live in the central belt of Scotland, you can enrol your child in an ABA swimming class with Catriona Martin, PhD Student from theCentre for Behaviour Analysis from Queen’s University of Belfast.
